Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)-Nov 2012

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 18.11.2012. Candidates can apply On-line for CTET-NOV 2012
on CBSE/CTET website.

Applicability:

i    The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and NCT of
Delhi.
ii    CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
iii    Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

Application Fee:

Rs.500/- for General/OBC and Rs.250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates for one paper or Rs. 800/- for General/OBC or Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/PWD for both papers, To be remitted through Demand Draft in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Write your Registration Number, Name, Address, and Mobile/ Telephone Number on the back of the Demand Draft.

How to Apply:

Apply online at CBSE website at www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in before 31.08.2012 and take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation page after successful submission of data. The Confirmation Page, duly completed in all respect, should be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, in an envelope of size 12"x9" superscribed in bold letters "APPLICATION FOR CTET-NOV 2012" by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach positively by 07.09.2012 (14.09.2012 for Far-flung areas) in the CBSE office on the following address:
