The Andaman and Nicobar Administration invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerks (Group C, Non-Gazetted). This includes 146 vacancies of the notification published in the "Daily Telegram" and other media on 04.06.2013 by inviting online application from eligible candidates for conducting Competitive Recruitment Examination with the assistance of Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi, which could not be conducted due to some Administrative reasons and inconvenience expressed by Staff Selection Commission.

Vacancy Details:

  • LD Clerk (Group-C, Non-Gazetted: 302 posts (VI-03, HI-02, OC-03)
    Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade pay Rs. 1900/-

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an Indian national.
  • Age: 18 to 33 years for male candidates and 18 to 38 years for female candidates. Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable as per rules.
  • Must have Passed in Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) (Xllth Std.) from a recognized Board/University.
  • Should qualify in the written competitive examination conducted by the A&N Administration with the assistance of Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi.
  • Should qualify in the skill test of type writing with minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer. Machine(35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depression for each word).

Applications received after the closing date/ time will not be entertained under any circumstances.
