Samsung has announced Galaxy Core Advance, a new mid-range smartphone in the Galaxy series and the successor of Galaxy Core that was launched earlier this year. The main highlight of this phone is that It has lots of usability functions and enhanced accessibility features for disabled and visually impaired users including, Optical Scan that automatically recognizes text from an image and reads it aloud to the user, Light Sensing technology that uses phone’s camera to sense light direction and brightness, Instant Voice Recorder with simplified access to make quick voice notes, Screen Curtain enables users to operate commands on a black screen to ensure privacy and saves battery life, High Quality TTS (Text-to-Speech) functionalities and Voice Guided Camera functions to take pictures by reading out the number of faces detected and their standing location. And it comes with dedicated physical keys for Voice Recorder and Camera to launch these frequently used features and it also has Volume Control key, Power key, Menu and Home key as previous Galaxy phones.
