PS 1-2, Institutional Area, I P EXTN., Patparganj, Delhi-110092 Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) – Feb 2014 The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 16.02.2014 (Sunday). Candidates can apply only On-line for CTET-FEB 2014 on CBSE/CTET website.

Applicability:

  • The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.
  • CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
  • Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

Application Fee:

Rs. 500/- for Paper-I or Paper-II or Rs. 800/- for both Paper-I & Paper-II for General & OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for Paper-I or Paper-II & Rs. 400/- for both Paper-I & Paper-II for SC, ST & PWD candidates. Fee can be deposited through Challan in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi or by Debit/Credit Card.

How To Apply:

Candidates can apply online through CTET Website at www.ctet.nic.in within 31.10.2013. The Application Form/Confirmation Page (Printe out) also original CBSE copy of Challan, if fees paid through Bank/Post Office Challan duly completed in all respect, should be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, in an envelope of size 12”x9” superscribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR CTET-FEB 2014” by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach positively by 07.11.2013 in the CBSE office on the address mentioned on the Computer generated Address Slip. The last date will be 15.11.2013 for the receipt of Confirmation Page for the candidates belonging to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep.
