SSC Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Examination 2014, Apply Now

Recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States and Union Territories 2014.

The Regional Offices of Staff Selection Commission are making recruitment to the posts of Multi Tasking Staff
in Pay Band-1(  5200-20200/-) + Grade Pay   1800/-, a
General Central Service Group ‗C‘ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories. The Commission proposes to hold a Common Examination for all applicants for posts in different States / UTs on 16.02.2014 & 23.02.2014 and  if required on subsequent dates.

Vacancy Details:

  • Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Non-Technical : Number of vacancies for the post of Multi Tasking Staff, will be determined by them in due course.
    Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 1800/-.
         Note:
    Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExS etc. categories is available as per extant Govt. Orders.
    Visually handicapped (VH) candidates with visual disabilities of forty percent and above and candidates suffering from Cerebral Palsy can avail the assistance of a SCRIBE in the Written Examination subject to such requests being made in the application form.    Question Papers and Answer Sheets will not be provided in BRAILLE.

Eligibility:

  • Age: 18-25  years as on 01.01.2014 (Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per Govt. rules)
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed Matriculation Examination OR equivalent from a recognized Board.

Application Fee:

Rs. 100/- for General and OBC candidates and no Fee for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD & X-Servicemen candidates. The candidates submitting Paper application should pay the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)"only   that available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. The candidates submitting their applications on-line should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India in the form of challan or through State Bank of India net banking.

How To Apply:

Candidates who wishe to apply offline mode should send applications in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) , to the concern regional Offices of SSC as mentioned in Para-7 of the notification on or before 13.12.2013 upto 5 PM. Candidates can also apply online through www.ssconline.nic.in or www.ssconline2.gov.in before 11.12.2013 for Part-I registration and 13.12.2013 for Part-II registration. Candidates applying online should retain the registration number assigned to them for further correspondence with the commission. They should not submit print outs of their application to the Commission. For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad who send application by post, the last date will be 20.12.2013 upto 5 PM. However, For candidates of these areas sending application online, the closing date will remain the same i.e.13.12.2013. Applications received late will not be entertained.
