Motorola has launched the Moto E (2nd Gen) in India, the successor of 1st Generation Moto E that was released in 2014. It was officially launched on March 10 and Flipkart started selling it on March 12 for Rs. 6,999. Moto E (2nd Gen) has some improvements over last gen Moto E. Moto E 2nd Gen packs a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 qHD) display instead of 4.3-inch found in Moto E 1st gen, but the screen resolution remains unchanged. The processor has been upgraded to 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC, from 1.2GHz dual core CPU present in last gen. The rear camera is still 5 Mega pixel but they equipped a VGA front camera this time, which was not present in last gen Moto E. But there is no LED flash this time also. Moto E (2nd Gen) runs on Android 5.0 Lollypop the previous one was on 4.4 Kit kat. Internal memory has been increased to 8GB from 4GB and the battery capacity also increased to 2390mAh from 1980 mAh which insures more backup than its predecessor.
