Oriental Bank of India (OBC), a leading public sector bank invites Online Applications from Indian citizens for following posts in Officer Cadre in JMGS-I scale from those  candidates who have appeared in the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011 & for Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and have a valid score card issued by IBPS:

Vacancy Details:

• Probationary Officer (PO) : 325 posts
  Pay Scale : Rs.14500-25700
  Age : 21-30 years as on 01.07.2011 (Relaxation of upper age limit as per Govt. rules)
• Agriculture Officer (AO) : 100 posts
  Pay Scale : Rs.14500-25700
  Age : 21-30 years as on 01.12.2011 (Relaxation of upper age limit as per Govt. rules)

Reservation of both vacancies (PO and AO):
Total : 425 posts (SC-63, ST-36, OBC-113, Gen-213) (PH-17 : VH-6, OH-5, HI-6)

Qualification:

1. Education:
Probationary Officers :
A Degree from recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India.
Agriculture Officers:
Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture /Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Agricultural Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pissiculture / Agriculture Marketing Co-operation.
2. Experience:Field experience of agriculture work and agricultural credit desirable but not essential.
3. The basic knowledge in operating computer systems in Windows mode, knowledge of MSWord/Office, Spread Sheets like MS-Excel and Internet & Email familiarity is an essential.
Note: Candidates can apply only for the post for which he/she holds a valid scorecard for the stipulated CWE.
