A. For Training:
- Probationary Officer [JMGS-I] : 270 posts (SC-40, ST-20, OBC-72, UR-138) (PWD-06 : VI-02, HI-02, OC-02)
- Probationary Clerk : 30 posts (SC-02, ST-03, OBC-08, UR-17)
B. For Recruitment After Training:
- Probationary Officers [JMGS-I] : 135 posts (SC-20, ST-10, OBC-36, UR-69) (PWD-03 : VI-01, HI-01, OC-01)
- Probationary Clerk : 15 posts (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-04, UR-09)
Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.03.2013):
- This entire process is applicable only to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
- For both the posts: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India and the result should have been declared on or before Date 01.03.2013.
- For clerical post, the candidate should preferably have proficiency in official language of the state.
- Age: For Probationary Officer : 21-30 years and For Probationary Clerk : 20-28 years (Relaxation in Upper Age Limit to reserved categories is applicable as per Government guidelines).
- Computer Literacy: A test will be conducted on computer knowledge after completion of training and pass in that test will be deemed as having computer knowledge.
- Hindi Knowledge: The candidates shall acquire working knowledge of Hindi, if not possessed already, before completion of probationary period, if appointed.

The eligible candidates have to register in www.nsdcudaan.com and apply for this programme during 29.04.2013 to 15.05.2013. All candidates who have applied on-line have to bring with them a filled-in physical application form as per application format provided in the Annexure.
