Various Posts in Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS) May-2013, 6 Posts for PWD

Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS) Manak Bhawan, 9 Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110002 Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), statutory body under the administrative control of Govt. of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, (Department of Consumer Affairs) responsible for activities in the field of Standardization, Product and System Certification, Hallmarking of Gold/Silver Jewellery, Laboratory Testing etc., in the country INVITES applications for recruitment to the various posts, as per the details given below:

Vacancy Details:

  • Assistant : 17 posts (01 for HH-PD / OH)
  • Junior Translator (Hindi) : 02 posts
  • Lower Division Clerk : 46 posts (02 for VH / HH/ OH) (ExS-05)
  • Junior Stenographer : 21 posts (02 for VH/HH/OH) (ExS-02)
  • Stenographer : 15 posts (01 for OH)
  • Technical Assistant (Lab) : 97 posts (02 for OH)
(Chemical-33, Mechanical-35, Electrical-22, Micro Biology-07)

Application Fee:

Rs. 535/- For the posts of Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Translator (Hindi) and Technical Assistant (Lab) And Rs. 385/- for the posts of Junior Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk, including Transaction charge of Bank to be deposited by the candidates through System Generated Challan at any branch of State Bank of India only within 21.05.2013 (Closing hour of business). No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates and existing departmental candidates of BIS for all posts. For Ex-servicemen, exemption applicable only for the posts of Junior Stenographer and LDC.

How To Apply:

Candidates are required to apply On-line through BIS website in English only. No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates can apply from 27.04.2013 to 17.05.2013 (Step 1) and 24.05.2013 (Step 2). If a candidate intends to apply for more than one post, he will have to submit individual online application for each post alongwith prescribed application fees (as applicable). In such a case he/she should have separate valid email ID for applying for each post.
