Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society, Chandigarh U.T., invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 226 posts of TGT (Masters/Mistresses) on contract basis up to 31.3.2013 at fixed remuneration of Rs. 20900/-P.M (as revised from time to time by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society. UT, Chandigarh) as per following details:

Vacancy Details:

• TGT in various subjects : 226 posts (PH-12)

  Subject Wise Vacancies:

• Maths : 38 posts (PH-2)
• Social Science : 44 posts (PH-1)
• Geography : 15 posts (PH-1)
• English : 25 posts (PH-2)
• Science (NM) : 31 posts (PH-3)
• Science (Med) : 19 posts (PH-1)
• Hindi : 39 posts (PH-2)
• Punjabi : 15 posts

Pay : fixed remuneration of Rs. 20900/-P.M.
Age: 21-35 years. Age is to be calculated in reference to closing date for submission of application.
Age is relaxable up to 45 years in the case of widows, deserted women and handicapped; up to 40 years for SC/ST; 40 years for Govt, servants and Women; and up to 38 years for OBCs. Ex-Servicemen or any other category will be given age relaxation as per the rules of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society. U.T., Chandigarh.

Qualification:

1. Graduate from a recognized University with relevant subjects/Elective subjects
with at least 50% marks in aggregate;
Bachelor of Education Degree with relevant teaching subject or its equivalent recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
2. Graduate from a recognized University with relevant subjects/ Elective subjects
with at least 50% marks in aggregate;
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) with relevant subjects or its equivalent recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate
OR
3. 4 years Integrated B Sc. B.Ed/B.A. B.Ed, with relevant subjects or an
equivalent course recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate
OR
4. 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) with relevant subjects
recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
And
5. Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi in
accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.

Application Fee:

Rs. 400/- or Rs. 200/- for SC candidates, will be payable through challan, generated after online filing of application.
