Recruitment Notification No. 02/2012 Recruitment of Probationary Clerks- Project- 2012-13.

Vijaya Bank, one of the Fast Growing Public Sector Banks, with Head Office at Bangalore, having a network of 1300 plus branches and offices, with presence all over India, invites online applications from young & Dynamic Candidates who have qualified in the Common Written Examination (CWE)- for Clerk conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in the year 2011 and holding a valid score card issued by IBPS, for recruitment for the posts of Probationary Clerks.

Vacancy Details:

• Probationary Clerks : 800 posts (SC-210, ST-149, OBC-108, Gen-333) (PWD-53 :OH-21, HH-16, VH-16) (XSM-116)
  Pay Scale : Rs. 7,200/- to Rs.19,300/-
  Age : 18 years to 28 years as on 01.08.2011 (Relaxation of upper age limit as per rules)

Qualification as on 01.08.2011:

• A passwith 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th Std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XSM candidates, a pass in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th Std. Examination of10+2+3 pattern orequivalent
  OR
  A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern)/ 11th Std. of 11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/ Pre- University or any equivalent examination/ Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/ State Government or U.T. administration. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XSM candidates, a pass in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern)/ 11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/ Pre-University or any equivalent examination/ Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration.
  OR
  Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Candidates with higher qualification will have added advantage.
• Preference will be given to computer literate (proficient in MSOffice BasicApplications).
• Candidates should have appeared for CWE for Clerical cadre held in 2011 from a centre in a State/UT for which vacancies he/she wishes to apply.
• Should be able to read, write and speak English.
• Should possess proficiency in the official language of the State/ UT (ability to read, write and speak local/State language) in which they have appeared for the Common Written Examination (CWE-CLERK 2011).

Application Fee:

Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs.100/- for General/OBC/XSM Candidates. The application fee / intimation charges can be paid by directly remitting the amount in any of the Vijaya Bank Branches through a payment challan between 16.08.2012 and 05.09.2012.  Payment of fee by Demand Draft / Cheque / Money Orders / Postal Orders etc or any other mode will not be accepted and such applications will be summarily rejected.
