Applications are invited from the Citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for the following posts in North Central Railways:

Vacancy Details:

• Group ‘D’ posts : 1965 posts (UR-828, SC-371, ST-213, OBC-467, Minority-86, PH-18)

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 1800.
Age : 18 to 33 years as on 01.01.2013 (Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable as per rules)

• Asstt. Points Man, Porter, Peon cum Porter, Safaiwala : 285 posts
• Box Porter : 9 posts
• Trackman : 950 posts
• Helper Engg./Works : 18 posts
• Helper (Tele & Signal) : 124 posts (PH-3)
• Parcel Porter, Catering Khalasi, Safaiwala,:  32 posts
• Hospital Attendant, Anti Maleria Khalasi, Safaiwala, : 42 posts (PH-1)
• Helper Mech. C&W/DSL/Loco : 176 posts (PH-4)
• Helper Electrical TRD/TRS/TL : 131 posts (PH-3)
• Helper Electrical (General) : 68 posts (PH-2)
• Helper Workshop : 54 posts (PH-2)
• Khalasi : 54 posts (PH-2)
• Office Khalasi : 22 posts (PH-1)

Educational Qualification:

10th Class or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Educational Institution/Board. Those
candidates who are appearing in and/or awaiting results of final examination of class 10th are not eligible. Candidates having higher educational qualifications
may also apply.

Examination Fee:

The examination fee for unreserved and OBC candidate is Rs. 40/-.  The examination fee should be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft/ Bank Draft from any Nationalized Bank or IPO from any Post Office.  For more details about fee payment, read the Notification given below.  Other candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee, subject to the condition given in notification.

How To Apply:

Application should be made on a good quality white A-4 (210x297mm) size paper on a single sheet using ONE SIDE ONLY and should use the same format published in the Employment Notice. Fill up required information in his or her own handwriting either in English or Hindi not in any other language duly dated and signed by him/her.
Candidates should mention "Application For Group 'D' Posts" on the top of the envelope containing the application. Physically Handicapped candidates should also write "Physically Handicapped" on the right side of the envelop.
The candidates should send his application duly filled in all respect along with required documents by ORDINARY POST ONLY,
to "Assistant Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway, Balmiki Chauraha, Nawab Yusuf Road, Allahabad' so as to reach on or before 30.09.2012 18:00 hrs. Application may also be dropped in the Box kept in the Railway Recruitment Cell Office for this purpose. For candidates belonging to Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep, the last date will be 15.10.2012
