Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. Candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Vacancy Details:

• Probationary Officer : 2000 posts (VI-24, OC-38)

Note: The examination will be in 2 phases phase-I and Phase-II. Preliminary Examination (phase-I) will be conducted tentatively in June 2015 and those who qualified in preliminary examination will be called for phase-II examination.

Eligibility:

• Age: 21-30 years as on 01.04.2015. Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable as per rules.
• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.09.2015.

Application Fee:

Rs. 100/- for SC, ST & PWD candidates and Rs. 600/- for all others. The payment can be made between 13.04.2015 and 02.05.2015 through online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
