Open Market Recruitment to various posts in Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway invites applications from bonafide Citizens of India and such other candidates declared eligible by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to fill up a total of 7368 posts in various Divisions/ Workshops/Units of Northern Railway.

Vacancy Details:

• Group-D Posts : 7368 posts (SC-1105, ST-543, OBC-2006, UR-3714) (PH-221)
  (As per Railway rules, 221 posts (i.e 3% (1% OH, 1% HH, 1% VH) of total vacancy of 7368) will be reserved for PWD/PH, but such candidates will be accommodated on identified posts)
  Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade pay of Rs. 1800/-

• Khalasi Helper : 1422 posts
• Trackman : 3853 posts

• Safaiwala : 39 posts
• Safaiwala (Female) : 01 post

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Educational Qualifications: 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent.
Candidates appearing /or awaiting results of 10th/ITI or equivalent on the date of application are NOT eligible to apply.
Age: 18-33 years as on 01.01.2013 (Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable for eligible categories as per rules)

Application Fee:

Rs. 40/- for General/OBC categories, to be deposited through Indian Postal Order of requisite value in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, Lajpat Nagar - I, New Delhi - 110024.
Or can be deposited in any branch of the Central Bank of India in the form of Fee Payment Challan provided in RRC’s Website. Fee can also be deposited in any other Bank by using NEFT. Payment by Demand Draft will not be accepted. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women candidates, Minority communities, Economically backward classes having annual family income of less than Rs.50,000 and Persons with Disabilities(PWD) are exempted from application fee.

How To Apply:

The filled application form along with the required documents should be addressed to :
Assistant Personnel Officer(RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, Lajpat Nagar - I, New Delhi - 110 024, on or before 15.10.2012 upto 17:00 hrs. The filled in applications can also be dropped in the boxes kept for the purpose in the premises of the Railway Recruitment Cell at the above mentioned address on or before the closing date and time. For residents of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts, Panji, sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, Closing Date & Time will be 31.10.2012 upto 17:00 hrs. On the envelope containing the application it should be clearly been written "APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO
