Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the Indian Nationals and from such of those persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to fill up 2,461 vacancies in Southern Railway and Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade pay Rs. 1800. - Sweeper Cum Porter : 482 posts (OH-07, HH-07)
- Trackman : 1003 posts ((OH-30)
- Helper Gr. II (Elect) : 153 posts (OH-02, HH-01)
- Helper Gr. II (Mech) : 536 posts (OH-07, HH-07)
- Helper Gr. II (S&T) : 42 posts
- Helper Gr. II (Stores) : 53 posts (OH-02)
- Safaiwala : 94 posts (OH-01, HH-01)
- Peon : 22 posts
- Trackman/ Mali / Helper Gr.-II/ Vendor/ Peon/ Sanitary Cleaner (ICF/PU) : 76 posts (OH-01, VH-01, HH-01)
Eligibility:
Age : 18-33 years as on 01.01.2013 (Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable for Eligible categories as per rules)
Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent at the time of applying. Candidates having higher Educational Qualification can also apply.
Application Fee:
Rs. 40/- for General and OBC categories, The fee shall be paid in the form of Crossed Demand Draft from any Nationalised Bank or Crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of "The Assistant Personnel Officer/Recruitment, RRC, Chennai-600 008" and payable at Chennai. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women, Minority communities and Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.

Application complete in all respects along with all the enclosures in a cover superscribed as under in BOLD CAPITAL letters :

shall be sent by Ordinary Post, so as to reach at the following address on or before 25.09.2012 at 18:00 Hrs.
