Open Market Recruitment to posts in Pay Band - 1 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
Railway Recruitment Cell, South East Central Railway, invites applications in prescribed format from eligible Indian Nationals and such other candidates declared eligible by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to fill up the following posts in the Raipur, Bilaspur and Nagpur Divisions and workshops of South East Central Railway.

- Group-D Posts : 2079 posts (SC-312, ST-156, OBC-560, UR-1051) (PH-62 : VH-17, OH-24, HH-21)
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade pay of Rs. 1800/- - Porter : 224 posts
- TMO/KSI : 08 posts (OH-02)
- Helper -II (S&T) : 64 posts (VH-05, OH-05, HH-05)
- Helper -II (Mechanical) : 148 posts (VH-03, OH-06, HH-06)
- Helper -II (Electrical) : 40 posts (VH-03, OH-04, HH-04)
- Helper -II (Stores) : 24 posts (VH-04, OH-04, HH-04)
- Trackman : 1550 posts
- Hospital Attendents/Dis Cleaner : 05 posts (OH-01)
- Helper -II/Hamal : 16 posts (VH-02, OH-02, HH-02)
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should possess qualification of 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates appearing at and/or awaiting results of the final examinations of 10th /ITI or equivalent on the date of application are not eligible to apply.
Age should be 18-33 years as on 01.01.2013 (The upper age is relaxable for the eligible categories as per rules)
Examination Fee:
Rs. 40/- for General/OBC categories, payable in a form of a crossed Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank or crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur - 495004, Chhattisgarh. Remittance of examination fee in any other form will not be accepted. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women candidates, Minority communities, Economically backward classes having annual family income of less than Rs. 50,000/-, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from examination fee.
How To Apply:
Candidates should submit the applications in prescribed format on good quality A-4 size bond paper (80 GSM) using one side only. The filled in application along with the required documents should be sent by post to the Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, RTS Colony, Near Kendriya Vidyalaya, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur- 495004, (Chhattisgarh) on or before 05.10.2012 upto 17:00 hrs. The filled in applications can also be dropped in the boxes kept for the purpose in the premises of the Railway Recruitment Cell at the above mentioned address on or before the closing date and time. For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunanchal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep Islands and for candidates residing abroad, the closing date for receipt of application by ordinary post will be 19.10 .2012 up to 17:00 hrs.
